Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers in a fully remote capacity, the Director of Software Engineering will manage the delivery of the Nebula eDiscovery platform, ensuring predictable execution of the development lifecycle while advancing cloud architecture and AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run the Nebula development lifecycle from planning to post-release quality, focusing on engineering metrics and risk management
- Advance platform architecture for scalability and reliability, balancing modernization efforts with feature delivery
- Partner with Product and research teams to bring AI features to production, ensuring compliance with legal-sector standards
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years in management roles
- Proven experience in shipping and operating commercial SaaS products on major cloud platforms
- Experience delivering AI- or ML-powered product features to production
- Fluency in modern delivery practices such as agile, CI/CD, and automated testing
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
