Director of Solution Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing PreSales organization, the full-time remote Director of Solution Engineering will manage four SE Managers and over 30 Solutions Engineers, driving operational execution and go-to-market strategies while fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer obsession.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop SE Managers and Solutions Engineers, promoting a high-performance culture focused on accountability and growth
• Translate PreSales objectives into operational plans, ensuring accountability for outcomes through effective management
• Design and execute strategies to enhance technical win rates and pipeline velocity in collaboration with Sales leadership

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of second-line management experience in PreSales or Solutions Engineering within a high-growth SaaS environment
• Proven track record of driving AI adoption in PreSales or Sales organizations
• Experience in building and optimizing go-to-market strategies in complex environments
• Strong data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to inform strategy
• Demonstrated ability to hire, coach, and mentor technical go-to-market teams
