Director of Solution Engineering

Job Summary

Leading a high-performing PreSales organization, the full-time remote Director of Solution Engineering will manage four SE Managers and over 30 Solutions Engineers, focusing on operational execution, go-to-market strategies, and AI integration to drive success in HubSpot's Corporate segment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of SE Managers and Solutions Engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
• Translate PreSales objectives into operational plans and hold teams accountable for outcomes
• Design and execute strategies to enhance technical win rates and improve deal quality in collaboration with Sales leadership

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of second-line management experience in PreSales or Solutions Engineering within a high-growth SaaS environment
• Proven track record of driving AI adoption in a PreSales or Sales organization
• Experience in building and optimizing go-to-market strategies in complex environments
• Strong data-driven mindset with a history of using metrics to inform strategy and outcomes
• Ability to inspire and build diverse, high-caliber teams with a focus on developing future leaders
