Director of Solution Engineering
Job Summary
To drive technical discovery and solution design for banking solutions, the full-time remote Director of Solution Engineering will manage the sales engineering function, gaining in-depth knowledge of Zeta's technology stack and crafting tailored solutions for financial institutions.
Key responsibilities
- Run technical discovery sessions to identify and solve complex problems within large institutions
- Produce target architecture and integration designs while managing coexistence and phasing strategies
- Build and maintain demo environments and conduct proofs of concept to showcase solutions effectively
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in technology and commercial roles, ideally within a banking tech company
- Proven track record of selling technology to banks or credit unions in the US, navigating enterprise architecture and security reviews
- Hands-on experience with core banking technology, including deposits, payments, and lending
- Experience with core or platform migration in live institutions is strongly preferred
- A degree in computer science or engineering is essential
