Job Summary
Leading a small team of Solution Engineers, the full-time Director of Solutions Engineering will support strategic deals, build and scale the pre-sales function, and partner with Sales Leadership to drive technical wins in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support strategic deals through discovery, demos, architecture deep-dives, and POCs for major prospects
- Build and develop a high-performing team of Solution Engineers, establishing standards for technical storytelling and demo craft
- Own SE metrics and capacity planning while collaborating closely with Product to influence the roadmap based on competitive insights
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in Solution/Sales Engineering, with at least 5 years of experience leading SE teams
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise deals in customer experience, contact center, AI/ML, or enterprise SaaS
- Strong technical expertise, capable of discussing integrations and addressing complex technical questions independently
- Experience engaging with C-level executives and a willingness to participate hands-on in demonstrations
- Demonstrated ability to design processes and playbooks rather than simply inheriting them
