Director of Specialty Operations

Job Summary

Leading the operations for the launch of a new ultra-orphan specialty product, the full-time Director of Specialty Operations will manage strategic planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and oversee day-to-day operations in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategies for the specialty product launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Access Strategy to integrate marketing initiatives with specialty operations
• Oversee daily operations of the specialty distribution network, ensuring compliance and effective service delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in specialty model development/operations, with a focus on ultra-rare or specialty therapies
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and product launches
• Deep knowledge of specialty operating models, reimbursement, and patient management
• Strong strategic thinking and project management skills
