Director of Specialty Pharmacy Contracting

Job Summary

Leading the negotiation and management of specialty pharmacy network contracts, the full-time remote Director of Specialty Pharmacy Contracting will oversee contract strategy, provider agreements, and financial outcomes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for specialty pharmacy participation agreements across various provider segments
• Develop and maintain contracting playbooks and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance
• Act as a senior contact for complex provider discussions and drive resolution of high-impact issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in PBM, healthcare plan, pharmacy network, or related fields
• Experience in provider contracting and contract strategy
• Strong understanding of pharmacy reimbursement and claims adjudication
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a professional services environment
