Director of Staffing

Job Summary

Leading the charge in building a new technology staffing and recruitment division, the full-time Director of Staffing will manage full-cycle recruiting for IT and software development roles while developing business strategies and client relationships in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruiting and account management for various staffing engagements, including contract and direct-hire placements
• Develop and execute business development strategies, including outreach and client pitches, to grow the staffing division
• Build and manage a recruiting tech stack to enhance efficiency and candidate quality while establishing sourcing strategies for technical roles

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical/IT staffing or recruiting with a proven track record of growing a staffing book of business
• Deep familiarity with full-cycle recruiting for software development and engineering roles
• Experience with modern recruiting technology, including ATS/CRM platforms and AI-assisted sourcing tools
• Working knowledge of contingency search fee structures and contract negotiation
• Strong business development instincts with the ability to initiate and close new client relationships
