Job Summary
Leading the strategic direction for state markets, the full-time remote Director of State Adoptions will manage Edmentum's state adoption strategy, oversee a team of specialists, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance product offerings and market growth.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive the state adoption and approval strategy, managing adoption pipelines and curriculum submissions
- Provide strategic insights on state education adoption policy to executive leadership, influencing product investment and market positioning
- Build partnerships across departments to align program strategy with product roadmap and revenue goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Education, Public Policy, Business, or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in K-12 education technology, with at least 8 years in state adoptions or government relations
- Proven track record of managing complex multi-state adoption submissions and navigating curriculum review frameworks
- Strong knowledge of K-12 academic standards and curriculum evaluation
- Experience building relationships with state and local departments of education
