Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Director of State Government Deals, the successful candidate will lead complex, multi-million dollar sales negotiations, crafting compelling proposals and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful bid submissions and contract closures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sales process for complex deals, from qualification to closure, focusing on state and local government clients
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored propositions and gather necessary documentation for bid submissions
- Drive contract negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes for both the organization and clients while establishing robust reporting processes
Required qualifications
- 10 years of experience in leading negotiations with state and local government customers
- High level of expertise in state government technology solutions and technical sales techniques
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing bid activities within the state government sector
- Strong understanding of the state government budgeting and funding processes
- Sales experience in government technical solutions is strongly preferred
