Job Summary
To shape emerging hemp beverage policy and drive advocacy efforts, the full-time salaried Director of State Regulatory Affairs will manage government affairs, build strategic relationships with regulators, and guide market growth strategies in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively influence state and federal hemp beverage regulations and drive advocacy campaigns
- Cultivate relationships with state regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders
- Monitor legislative developments and provide strategic guidance for market entry and compliance
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of government affairs or regulatory advocacy experience in hemp, cannabis, alcohol, or highly regulated CPG
- Strong understanding of state hemp beverage policy and emerging regulatory trends
- Proven track record of influencing state-level regulations across multiple states
- Experience partnering with executive leadership on strategic decisions
- Ability to travel 1-2 times per month
