Director of Statistics
Job Summary
Providing statistical leadership in a full-time remote capacity, the Director of Statistics will manage the development of clinical plans, innovative study designs, and statistical analysis while influencing decision-making and integrating data-driven insights into drug development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of clinical trials, including authoring protocols and statistical analysis plans
- Communicate study results through regulatory submissions, reports, and presentations to various stakeholders
- Apply innovative statistical methodologies to enhance drug development and address critical problems
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics
- At least 7 years of experience in clinical research and development within the pharmaceutical industry
- Significant experience with clinical trials and medical research
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages/software such as SAS or R
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence business decisions
