Director of Store Technology

Job Summary

Leading a team of technology professionals, the full-time remote Director of Store Technology will oversee the engineering and operational health of in-store technology systems, including POS and device management, while driving modernization efforts and ensuring high performance and reliability across multiple retail locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and mentor a team of Store Solutions managers and engineers to foster a proactive support culture
• Own the multi-year technology roadmap and lead modernization initiatives for store technology systems
• Ensure operational reliability and incident management for in-store technology platforms, minimizing disruption to store operations

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of IT leadership experience in retail or consumer-facing technology environments
• 5+ years of experience leading Store Solutions or POS technology teams
• Proven track record of managing large-scale retail technology environments with high uptime requirements
• Strong financial acumen, including budget ownership and vendor management
• Experience in incident management and operational support within distributed retail environments
