Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

Leading the financial planning and analysis function for the Engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Strategic Finance will partner with the executive team to translate complex financial data into actionable insights, drive strategic planning, and support capital strategy and fundraising efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-range planning processes for Engineering and Technology
• Deliver data-driven insights through executive dashboards and prepare materials for Board of Directors and investors
• Build and maintain complex financial models to support scenario planning, M&A, and fundraising

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Strategic Finance roles
• Proven experience in high-growth B2B SaaS, aerospace, or defense environments
• Strong expertise in financial modeling and advanced Excel capabilities
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and/or government contracting principles
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
