Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

Experienced finance professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as the Director of Strategic Finance, responsible for leading the strategic finance function for Product & Engineering, developing financial frameworks, and influencing key business decisions to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Product & Engineering strategic finance function, acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders
• Develop and improve strategic planning and forecasting processes to align operational objectives with financial targets
• Build financial models for major projects and lead cross-departmental financial initiatives to drive alignment on budgeting and resource planning

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications (MBA, CFA, CA) preferred
• 12+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with executive teams and stakeholders
• Advanced modeling skills and a deep understanding of SaaS business models and metrics
• Proficiency in Excel, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), and financial planning tools
