Director of Strategic Finance

Job Summary

To drive Mozilla's long-term financial strategy, the remote Director of Strategic Finance will manage financial modeling, oversee investment portfolio performance, and lead a team of finance professionals while collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Mozilla's 3-to-5-year long-range financial model, translating strategic goals into actionable forecasts
• Conduct market sizing and segmentation analyses, defining and evaluating the Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM)
• Oversee the financial performance and strategic alignment of Mozilla's direct investments and venture portfolio, providing updates and recommendations to leadership

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Development, or Management Consulting, preferably in technology or consumer internet sectors
• 2+ years of direct people management experience with a focus on developing high-performing teams
• Exceptional ability to build complex financial models and utilize AI tools in financial modeling
• Strong command of strategic frameworks and market sizing methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MBA or CFA charter is a strong plus
