Job Summary

Director of Strategic Payer Accounts is a full-time position responsible for driving formulary access and coverage for a novel treatment across Medicaid and key Regional payers, while collaborating with various internal teams to ensure effective execution of payer strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account strategies for Medicaid and Regional payers to optimize formulary positioning
  • Articulate the clinical and economic value proposition to payer audiences and support coverage decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and address coverage challenges effectively
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in pharma/biotech market access, specifically in Medicaid and Regional payer account management
  • Proven track record of negotiating and securing formulary access for specialty or breakthrough products
  • Deep knowledge of the US payer landscape and formulary decision-making processes
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in relevant fields preferred
  • Experience in hands-on launch at a growth-stage biotech and exceptional stakeholder management skills
