Director of Strategic Procurement

Job Summary

To support organizational growth, the full-time remote Director of Strategic Procurement will set and execute procurement strategies, manage vendor acquisitions, and advise executive leadership on market dynamics and investment tradeoffs.

Key responsibilities

• Define sourcing strategies and operating models for strategic procurement across the enterprise
• Govern end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategies and financial controls
• Lead complex vendor negotiations and establish performance standards within vendor contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Procurement certification preferred
• 10+ years of experience in strategic procurement and vendor management, preferably in a regulated industry
• 5+ years of experience in leadership roles, developing manager capability and driving accountability
• Proven track record in managing high-dollar vendor contracts and sourcing technology-enabled services
