Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Strategic Sourcing for the Government Space Segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and complete strategic sourcing initiatives for federal space programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with enterprise objectives
• Develop and implement category strategies for space grade components and services, balancing cost, risk, and performance
• Establish and manage strategic supplier relationships, including negotiations and performance governance

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within regulated industries
• Deep understanding of space applications and associated quality and reliability standards
• Proven supplier management experience, including executive engagement and risk mitigation
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a US Secret Clearance
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience partnering with Engineering and Program Management
