Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare organization, the full-time Director of Strategic Sourcing will manage category managers, develop strategic sourcing strategies, and enhance internal client relationships while primarily working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal client relationships to understand their strategic priorities and business requirements
• Lead cross-functional sourcing teams and manage sourcing and vendor management strategies across various procurement categories
• Implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, reduce cycle times, and ensure compliance with policies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in Procurement with strong knowledge of Indirect Procurement Categories
• Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies and supplier performance management
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive enterprise initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and experience with financial planning and budget management
