Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

Leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide sourcing strategies, the full-time Director of Strategic Sourcing will optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance across clinical and non-clinical portfolios while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and executes comprehensive sourcing strategies for medical/surgical supplies, capital equipment, and purchased services
• Drives product rationalization and standardization initiatives in collaboration with clinical leaders to enhance quality outcomes
• Manages and mentors a team of sourcing and contracting professionals, establishing performance expectations and accountability frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or procurement, including 5 years of supervisory experience
• Expert knowledge of healthcare supply chain dynamics and clinical products
• Proficiency with data visualization tools and advanced healthcare ERP systems
• High-level negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
