Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

Owning Zoom's largest and most technically complex sourcing portfolio, the full-time remote Director of Strategic Sourcing will manage category strategy for enterprise technology, including cloud, infrastructure, software, hardware, telecommunications, and AI, while leading a high-performing sourcing team and serving as a strategic partner to various leadership teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own category strategies and multiyear sourcing roadmaps for the enterprise technology portfolio
• Lead complex negotiations and set negotiation strategies for major transactions, ensuring competitive terms and business flexibility
• Establish effective operating rhythms for proactive renewal management and consistent execution across the sourcing portfolio

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and category management, particularly in enterprise technology
• Proven track record in leading high-value negotiations and managing complex supplier relationships
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and technology investment cycles
• Experience in team leadership, coaching, and developing sourcing professionals
• Ability to translate complex trade-offs into executive-ready recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
