Director of Strategy and Business Development
Job Summary
Driving enterprise-critical strategy initiatives, the full-time remote Director of Strategy and Business Development will lead strategy engagements, identify M&A opportunities, and develop partnerships to support growth within Optum Financial.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategy engagements including industry landscapes, long-term and GTM strategies, and competitive intelligence
- Identify and prioritize M&A partnership opportunities aligned with strategic growth areas
- Deliver executive-ready recommendations and manage senior stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in business development, consulting, corporate development, or investment banking
- Strong expertise in fintech and/or healthcare with experience in evaluating partnership structures and M&A opportunities
- Proven ability to build and lead complex financial models and investment analyses
- Experience working with senior-level leaders and delivering executive communication
