Director of Strategy and Operations

Job Summary

To build and lead the Strategy & Operations function, the full-time remote Director of Strategy and Operations will own strategic initiatives, partner with department leaders to evolve operations, and create analytical frameworks for measuring performance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategic and operational initiatives from problem definition to implementation and measurement
• Partner with department leaders to diagnose operational needs and co-own the evolution of their processes
• Build frameworks for measuring operational performance and lead cross-functional projects to drive company efficiency

Required qualifications

• Strong analytical foundation with experience structuring ambiguous problems and building models
• Operational instincts with a focus on closing the gap between recommendations and effective operations
• Credibility with specialized experts, capable of enhancing operations through collaborative discussions
• Proven ownership mentality, measuring success by the durability of implemented changes
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make judgment calls on project scope and completion
