Director of Subcontracts Management

Job Summary

Leading a team in a remote environment, the full-time salaried Director of Subcontracts Management will oversee the development, negotiation, and execution of subcontracting activities while ensuring alignment with corporate strategies and risk management policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide authoritative guidance on corporate goals related to subcontract activity and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Collaborate with Business Development to assist in the overall procurement approach and analyze unique contract requirements
• Monitor team performance, conduct appraisals, and make personnel decisions including hiring and disciplinary actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of professional experience in federal subcontracting or contracts management
• Demonstrated experience managing high-performing subcontracting or procurement teams
• Deep knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
• Proven ability to develop and implement procurement/subcontracting policies and procedures
• Experience in a Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) environment
