Director of Supplier Quality

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Supplier Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and develop the supplier quality team in APAC to achieve company objectives
• Drive zero defect methodology to prevent factory disruptors and implement efficient dock to stock programs
• Improve supplier quality through early engagement with R&D, procurement, and suppliers

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering; MS preferred
• 10-15 years of experience in Supplier Management Engineering/Quality Engineering for a Technology or Automotive Company
• 15+ years of supplier quality experience with proven success in partnering with suppliers
• Experience with zero defect manufacturing and automotive certification TS16949 or similar
• Strong background in SPC control methods and quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, and DOE
