Director of Supply Chain Management

Job Summary

Leading the HomeGrown - Buy initiative, the full-time Director of Supply Chain Management will provide strategic leadership, develop local supplier ecosystems, and ensure alignment with Duke's economic mobility strategy while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HomeGrown - Buy strategy and maintain a sourcing opportunity pipeline
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to identify local supplier opportunities and support sourcing events
• Develop relationships with community partners and lead outreach initiatives to enhance local supplier engagement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in strategic sourcing or related disciplines
• Experience in developing strategic sourcing roadmaps and executive reporting
• Proven ability to deliver executive-level presentations and communications
• Certifications such as PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or APICS/ASCM preferred
