Director of Supply Chain Management

Job Summary

Leading the HomeGrown - Buy initiative, the full-time salaried Director of Supply Chain Management will provide strategic leadership, develop local supplier ecosystems, and engage with community partners to enhance Duke's economic mobility strategy while balancing quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the HomeGrown - Buy strategy and maintain a sourcing opportunity pipeline
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to identify and develop local supplier opportunities
• Build relationships with community organizations and lead supplier engagement initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in strategic sourcing or related disciplines
• Experience developing strategic sourcing roadmaps and executive-level presentations
• PMP, CPSM, CSCP, or APICS/ASCM certification preferred
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and initiatives
