A company is looking for a Director, Contract Surety Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of the underwriting process for a group within a product line
• Develop and execute a marketing plan by targeting new brokers and attending industry functions
• Analyze, evaluate, accept, decline, rate, quote, and bind new or renewal submissions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field
• 8 or more years of experience in a similar field or position
• Advanced degree preferred
• Experience in managing and developing subordinates
• Proficiency in using software for data analysis
