Director of Systems Engineering

Job Summary

Director of Systems Engineering, overseeing the Systems Engineering and Test functions in a fully remote, full-time position, providing strategic direction and technical leadership in the development of connected cardiac monitoring technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary Systems Engineering and Test teams throughout product development and lifecycle activities
• Own functional strategy, resource planning, and operating model for Systems Engineering, ensuring alignment with business priorities
• Drive the adoption of improved engineering processes and best practices while maintaining compliance and team engagement

Required Qualifications

• BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field; MS/MBA preferred
• 15+ years in regulated medical device development with extensive experience in Systems Engineering
• 8+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Expertise in systems engineering best practices and applicable regulatory standards
• Proven experience in risk management and verification strategy execution in medical device development
