Director of Systems Integration

Job Summary

Leading systems integration efforts, the full-time Director of Systems Integration will define and maintain integration architecture, manage interface risks, and oversee the development lifecycle for complex aerospace programs, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment from Boston or remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Own systems integration end-to-end, including integration architecture and system-level verification strategy
• Lead integration planning and execution across the full development lifecycle, from requirements decomposition to aircraft-level validation
• Build and lead the systems integration team, defining roles and developing engineers to independently manage integration challenges

Required qualifications:

• BS or MS in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering
• 12+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems integration roles on complex aerospace programs, with at least 4 years in a technical leadership capacity
• Deep expertise in interface definition and control, including ICD development and system-level verification
• Experience leading integrations on programs involving both hardware and software with accountability for system-level test outcomes
• Familiarity with DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, or equivalent certification frameworks
