Director of Talent

Job Summary

Leading the Talent department remotely, the full-time salaried Director of Talent will manage sourcing, vetting, contracting, and placing independent contractors while driving a high-performing team to exceed contractor supply and quality goals.

Key responsibilities

• Set vision and strategy for the Talent team, advising executive leadership on workforce and contractor supply planning
• Oversee sourcing and lead generation to maintain a strong contractor pipeline and ensure compliance with employment laws
• Partner with the CFO on the Talent department budget and investment decisions, aligning long-term priorities with the company's people strategy

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in the staffing industry or a large talent-acquisition department
• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
• Proven success managing contractor relations, legal escalations, and compliance
• Experience in multi-vertical or high-growth placement operations
• Preferred certifications include SHRM certification or ASA Certified Staffing Professional (CSP)
