Job Summary

As our Director of Talent Acquisition you will own a critical piece of our growing business. You'll be responsible for HR related responsibilities and staffing a variety of positions across three organizations with talent from around the globe. You will work closely with senior management in each division to develop forward-looking strategies that support rapid growth.

Achieve Test Prep, Smarter With Achieve, and We Are Working are three separate organizations that operate under shared ownership. Our HR & Talent Acquisition Director will head up recruitment for all three.

Responsibilities:

-Develop, launch and continually optimize a strategic staffing plan for the organization
-Deploy forecasting, reporting and analytics rigor to track key recruiting and sourcing metrics and measure progress
-Recruit talent. While you'll have a team of recruiters by your side, you'll roll up your sleeves and recruit alongside them for the more critical roles.
-Assess and make recommendations regarding HR strategies
-Benefits evaluation, implementation, management, and related vendor coordination
-Employee relations
-Monitor and coordinate all state/federal governmental and regulatory compliance activities.
-Develop, implement, and coordinate performance management procedures
-Develop and continually streamline thorough processes for your team and for other teams to follow as they interact with you
-Partner with leaders in each division and assume an active role in their planning and goal setting

Desired Skills and Experience:

-Bachelor's degree or higher with a focus in business or another relevant discipline
-3+ years experience with employment law and HR compliance across multiple states.
-Ability to lead a project from beginning to end and oversee multiple projects at the same time
-Ability to lead a team of direct reports within the HR department and/or project teams
-Effective prioritization, time management, organizational skills, and ability to meet established deadlines
-Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment, and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
-7+ years of full-cycle recruiting, experience recruiting outside the US a plus
-Proven experience in creating and leading talent acquisition strategies
