Director of TBM Strategy

Job Summary

Leading strategic initiatives, the full-time remote Director of TBM Strategy will manage a professional staff to support IT strategy formulation, vendor governance, and continuous cost optimization while providing data-driven analysis and recommendations for long-term operational improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage a professional staff to enable strategy, vendor governance, and TBM services within the IT organization
• Establish relationships with IT and business leaders to provide analytics and insights for cost optimization and decision-making
• Lead the development and implementation of service costing strategies and TBM capabilities to enhance IT performance visibility

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or Operations Research; MBA preferred
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in Finance, Strategy, or Management Consulting, with a focus on leading high-performance teams
• Prior experience in Technology Business Management (TBM) or CIO advisory work
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Alteryx
• Professional certification preferred: CMA, CSCA, FP&A, or ITIL
