Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Technical Accounting to lead financial reporting and technical accounting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and delivery of external financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Serve as the technical accounting expert for complex transactions and draft technical accounting memos
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance

Required Qualifications

• Strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting expertise
• Experience leading financial reporting and close processes
• Background supporting audits and SOX environments
• Proven leadership experience and ability to scale processes
• Experience in SaaS or high-growth environments preferred
