Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

Director of Technical Accounting, a fully remote, salaried position responsible for researching complex accounting matters, developing accounting policies, and supporting financial reporting in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and document complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP, focusing on ASC 606 and ASC 805
• Lead purchase accounting analyses for acquisitions and provide technical accounting guidance on transaction structures
• Support the preparation and review of GAAP financial statements and serve as a liaison with external auditors

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 805
• Strong experience preparing technical accounting memos and interfacing with auditors
• CPA certification is strongly preferred
