Director of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

Leading the technical accounting function remotely, the full-time salaried Director of Technical Accounting will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP while overseeing the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees the generation and review of reconciliations across all areas of the balance sheet and income statement
• Ensures compliance with company policies and US GAAP by reviewing monthly/quarterly account reconciliations and other financial documents
• Leads a team of accounting professionals, focusing on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years or more of experience in accounting or finance, accompanied by a bachelor's degree in the same field
• Experience with ERP systems, including implementations
• Demonstrated success in relevant job functions or industries, with military service considered as a substitute for experience or education
