Director of Technical Operations

Job Summary

Leading the operational health and continuous improvement of the Human Health eCommerce and Portal application ecosystem, the full-time Director of Technical Operations will manage technical support, incident management, and system optimization while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level technical leadership for application support and complex troubleshooting, ensuring smooth transitions into steady-state operations
• Lead incident management for critical issues, including root cause analysis and establishing repeatable processes to track operational KPIs
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to align operational activities with project timelines and drive execution across functions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a management capacity, specifically in technical operations for customer-facing digital applications
• Significant experience with hybrid environments, including Microsoft Azure, and strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript frameworks, databases, monitoring tools, and CI/CD practices
