Director of Technical Services

Job Summary

Leading a cross-site technical services strategy, the full-time salaried Director of Technical Services will manage technology transfer, cleaning validation, and process validation while providing hands-on troubleshooting support across multiple manufacturing sites in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology transfer of new products and processes between manufacturing sites, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production
• Oversee the cleaning validation program, authoring protocols and managing ongoing verification efforts across all sites
• Serve as the primary technical resource for troubleshooting process deviations and driving continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or compounding, with expertise in technology transfer and validation processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of 503A/503B operations and regulatory guidelines such as USP and FDA's Process Validation Guidance
• Strong experience in root-cause investigation and corrective action planning in a regulated environment
• Proven ability to manage and develop teams across multiple sites, with experience in remote collaboration
