Director of Technical Services
Job Summary
Leading technical aspects of externally manufactured products for the Respiratory portfolio, the full-time Director of Technical Services will manage tech transfer projects, improve manufacturing processes, and provide technical expertise while working remotely from the UK, Europe, or the United States.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the holistic management of contract manufacturing capabilities and reliability
- Act as the technical point of contact for Contract Manufacturing Organizations, evaluating performance and capacity against commercial demand
- Develop and execute tech transfer project plans, ensuring effective implementation of new processes into GMP manufacturing operations
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related science field, with relevant experience
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical development and GMP manufacturing, preferably for respiratory products
- Experience in product categories such as OINDP, parenteral, or drug/device combinations
- Proven ability to plan and execute experimental plans in commercial plants
- Experience in statistical analysis and reporting to technical and senior stakeholders
