Director of Technical Solutions

Job Summary

Providing strategic and technical leadership, the full-time Director of Technical Solutions will manage a team of Field Application Engineers, engaging with customers to understand PCB requirements while driving technical engagement strategies and ensuring effective communication between customers and internal teams in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Field Application Engineers supporting strategic OEM, Tier 1, and EMS customers
• Drive technical engagement strategies across the sales cycle from pre-sales consultation to post-sales optimization
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline required
• 12+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing technical, customer-facing engineering teams
• Comprehensive understanding of PCB design processes, materials, and manufacturing techniques
• Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and global design teams preferred
