Director of Technology Operations

Job Summary

Leading technology operations for a remote environment, the full-time Director of Technology Operations will manage Quality Assurance, IT, and Security functions, focusing on modernization, automation, and strategic outcomes while developing teams and improving internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Set and define QA strategy, ensuring quality is integrated into the development lifecycle
• Modernize IT operations by automating processes, managing the SaaS portfolio, and establishing service standards
• Lead security initiatives, including roadmap development, policy establishment, and incident response management

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in technology roles with 5+ years in leadership, including experience in QA, IT, or Security
• Proven track record of transforming manual processes into automated, structured operations
• Strong knowledge of test automation, CI/CD integration, and agile development methodologies
• Hands-on experience with AWS and familiarity with IAM/SSO, MDM, and network security
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
