Director of Third Party Risk
Job Summary
To support the evolution of third-party risk management, the full-time remote Director of Third Party Risk will oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive risk strategy, integrating various risk domains while leading a team and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure compliance and alignment with enterprise objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a transformative third-party risk strategy that encompasses cybersecurity, privacy, and AI risks
- Design scalable processes for third-party risk assessments, monitoring, and compliance while reducing inefficiencies
- Establish and maintain key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness and report to executive leadership
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience
- 12+ years of experience in information security with prior supervisory experience
- Advanced certification in enterprise security and risk leadership (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) is required
- Knowledge of AI technologies and third-party AI risks
- Experience in developing standard operating procedures and integrating risk management practices across various functions
