Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the direction, strategy, and vision for the Detection Engineering & Threat Hunting function
• Manage multiple sub-teams and develop their leadership capabilities
• Propose and own plans for budgeting, execution, and hiring aligned with team growth

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on managing managers
• Experience leading large, high-priority projects that impact company direction
• Strong understanding of the business model of a Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Ability to articulate the ROI of detection engineering and threat hunting to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven track record of empowering teams to solve problems independently
