Director of Threat Detection

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Threat Detection, the fully remote position will manage incident response efforts, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance cybersecurity posture through innovative services and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise in continuous monitoring, triage, diagnosis of threats, and command technical investigations for incident containment and recovery
• Collect and analyze digital artifacts to support security investigations and incident response
• Prepare and present regular reports on incident response efforts to senior management and manage stakeholder communications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 10 years of experience in digital forensics and incident response
• Proficiency with digital forensics tools and major incident response leadership
• Experience with cyber defense frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS) and SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel)
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as PHP, Python, or Javascript
