Job Summary
To lead the administration and growth of a defined contribution retirement plan practice, the full-time Director of TPA Operations will oversee retirement plan operations, manage key client relationships, and support partner firms, with the option for a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement for highly qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for a diverse portfolio of defined contribution retirement plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Serve as a resource for partner firms during operational needs and facilitate seamless transitions of plan administration responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of new retirement plan clients while monitoring client experience metrics for successful outcomes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field
- 10+ years of retirement plan administration experience within a TPA, consulting firm, or related organization
- Demonstrated experience managing complex defined contribution retirement plans and plan sponsor relationships
- Strong technical knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations, and compliance testing
- Previous experience leading teams and developing retirement plan professionals
