Job Summary
Seeking a full-time, fully remote Director of Translational Medicine, this role will manage translational and biomarker strategies for early-phase oncology programs, focusing on RAS and PI3K-driven malignancies, while collaborating across clinical project teams and ensuring robust biomarker implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own biomarker and translational strategies from preclinical through Phase 1/proof-of-concept for assigned programs
- Design and oversee hypothesis-driven biomarker plans, including assay strategy and clinical biomarker implementation
- Prepare and present translational updates and contribute to resource planning, budgets, and timelines for translational activities
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. in oncology, molecular biology, pharmacology, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in translational medicine, biomarker science, or oncology drug development
- Proven track record of designing and executing translational biomarker strategies in early-phase oncology trials
- Solid understanding of RAS, PI3K, or related oncogenic signaling pathways
- Experience contributing to regulatory documents involving biomarker or translational content
