Director of Transmission Management

Job Summary

Leading the interconnection strategy for a growing renewable energy platform, the full-time Director of Transmission Management will manage the transmission and interconnection function for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, ensuring effective execution and team development while working remotely with occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio-wide transmission and interconnection strategy for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects
• Manage the full lifecycle of interconnection processes with utilities, ISOs, and RTOs, including applications, studies, and agreements
• Build and lead a high-performing interconnection team, fostering accountability and collaboration across project execution and risk management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in transmission planning, interconnection, or power-system studies for utility-scale projects
• Demonstrated experience leading utility, ISO, and RTO interconnection processes
• Strong technical grounding in power-system analysis and modeling
• Meaningful people-leadership experience, including team development and performance management
