Job Summary
Leading the interconnection strategy for a utility-scale solar and energy storage portfolio, the full-time salaried Director of Transmission Strategy will manage queue positions, oversee utility interconnection processes, and build a high-performing interconnection team while collaborating with cross-functional departments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead transmission and interconnection strategy across the solar and storage portfolio
- Manage queue positions, applications, studies, agreements, and energization timelines
- Oversee utility, ISO, and RTO interconnection processes from application through execution
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in transmission, interconnection, or grid integration
- Deep experience managing utility, ISO, and RTO interconnection processes
- Proven people-leadership experience with team development and performance management
- Strong technical and project-management skills with the ability to translate complex issues into business recommendations
