Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting strategy across various lines to support profitable growth
• Collaborate with leaders to identify trends and enhance processes
• Coach underwriting managers and teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive underwriting experience, including 5+ years in Commercial Package and/or Commercial Agribusiness underwriting
• 7+ years of leadership experience with a focus on mentoring and engagement
• In-depth knowledge of the commercial lines marketplace and insurance regulations
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required
• Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, AFIS, or ARM are a plus
